Most K-12 Spaces in Vivipod hold one assignment. The teacher writes the task into the Space, turns on review so nothing is visible until they approve it, and every student records once. The videos are for the teacher, for a performance, or for a family, and the class rarely needs to see them.

Prompts that work best name one task and one length. "Record your commercial, 30 to 60 seconds" gets finished work. "Share your thoughts" does not.
Private When You Want It
Set a Topic to visible after review and every student's post stays pending until you approve it. A pending post is visible only to its author and to the Space admins, so a rehearsal, an audition, or a shy student's first recording is never on display.
Approve the posts you want the class to see, or leave them all pending and use the Space as a private drop box. The moderation tutorial shows both.
How Students Join
Students open the Space link and sign in with an email code or a Google account. There is no separate student account type, no app to install, and the recorder runs in the browser on laptops, Chromebooks, and phones.
Space access has two settings. Open lets anyone with the link browse and sign in to post. Private requires your approval before a member can see anything. The student join and post tutorial walks through the student side.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can students see each other's videos?
Only if you let them. With review on, posts stay pending and private until you approve them. With review off, members of the Space see each post as it is published.
How long can a recording be?
Ninety seconds on the free plan, which fits a speech, a commercial, or an explanation. Plus raises the limit to five minutes for longer presentations. Only the Space owner needs Plus.
Do students need to be on camera?
No. The recorder can capture the screen, a drawing, or slides with voice, and students can switch between camera and screen while recording. Many teachers let students choose.
Can students re-record?
Yes. Students can retake before they upload, and drafts survive a closed tab.
