Prompts that name the vocabulary or structure to use ("use the verb to be and this week's words") get more accurate speech than open questions. Keep one task per Topic.
Why the Time Limit Helps
A 90-second limit is a feature for fluency work. Students stop scripting, rehearse until it fits, and produce speech you can review in one sitting. A class of 25 is under 40 minutes of listening.

Feedback on the Exact Second
Turn on comments for a Topic and you can leave feedback anchored to the moment a sound or a tense slipped, and students can reply in the same thread. Students can respond over a screen share, a drawing, or slides with voice instead of on camera. The speech is the evidence, not the face.

Can students re-record before they submit?
Yes. The recorder has pause and resume, and students can retake as many times as they want before they upload. Drafts survive a closed tab.
Can responses stay private from other students?
Yes. Set the Topic to visible after review and posts stay pending until you approve them. A pending post is visible only to its author and to the Space admins.
Does it work on phones?
