Get Started with Vivipod

What you need to use Vivipod, how to sign up or sign in with email or Google, and where to go next to create your first Space.

Higher-ed educatorsGetting startedAccount setup

This is the start of the product tutorials: get into Vivipod, then build a Space, Topics, and posts for your class. You do not need a paid plan to try the basics.

What you need

  • A modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari)
  • A school or work email, or a Google account for sign-in
  • For recording: camera and microphone permission in the browser (students need this too)
  • Optional: try the recorder without an account at vivipod.com/create—useful for a quick demo. Uploading into a course Space still requires sign-in.

Sign up or sign in

Open vivipod.com/auth. Choose Continue with Google, or enter your email and choose Continue.

Log in or create an account with Google or your email address.

If you use email, Vivipod sends a 6-digit code. Enter it on the verification screen and choose Verify. The same flow works for new accounts and returning users.

Enter the 6-digit code from your inbox to finish signing in.

New accounts get a username derived from your email (for example, alex.morgan@campus.edu becomes @alex_morgan). You can change display name and profile details later under settings.

After you sign in

You land on your dashboard. A brand-new account has no Spaces yet—that is expected. From here you create a Space for your course or community.

An empty dashboard is normal after first sign-in. Create Space starts your first course home.

Next: create your first Space

A Space is where Topics and student video posts live. Continue with Create your first Space for the form fields, open vs private access, and what you get after create.

Then follow the series: Topic → Post → Share → student join → moderate → members → recorder tools → comments. Use the tutorial list on this page to jump to any step.
